Alissa Naer is a 30 year old multidisciplinary artist with Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture at the University of New Paltz, New York. Her type of work varies, from painting, to sculpture, to installation art. Themes of her work straddle the political, spiritual, and conscious realm. She is determined to pursue her ambition in the art and design world by continuing to experiment with new materials, and pushing the boundaries of what constitutes an “acceptable art medium”. She started her professional career 8 years ago as a custom colorist and wood finisher at LaPolla Inspired Flooring, working predominantly in Manhattan and Eastern Long island.
